2024 Season Schedule!
2024 will be the second full season of DMS Time Trial Competitions. What started out as a couple just for fun events in 2022, has turned into a growing competitive racing series that anyone can get involved in! These events are the cheapest & safest way you can get involved in competitive motorsports on a race track.
StratoCross - 6 Autocross events are scheduled for this year. 5 dates are on Thursday evenings, along with an all new Challenge Day added for 2024. The events will continue with the same format as last season, but with updated classing. To help speed up marshal change overs, pre-assigned stations will be used this season. Events will be limited to the first 35 to register. Learn More Here
Challenge Day - A one day Autocross competition that has drivers running the track in both forward & reverse direction on the same day. Your best time from each direction will be combined to determine your placing. Trophies for the top 3 fastest drivers in each class will be handed out, along with a free pass to The StratoCup for 1st place positions!
This competition will be held on Saturday, June 15. Registration for the Challenge Day will open on April 1st, with early bird pricing ending April 15th. Registration will be capped at 60 drivers. More details can be found on the StratoCross page.
StratoAttack - 2 Track Sprint events are scheduled for this season, both on Thursday evenings. Once again these events will feature an open pit lane, allowing you to take as many runs as you want. Course work is not required of participants at these events.
$10 from each registration will go towards Charity at these competitions. The Accelerated Revolution Group, an automotive based charitable group that raises money for the Stollery Children's Hospital, will be back out! Events will be limited to the first 35 to register. Learn More Here
The StratoCup - The exciting end of season showdown is back again for 2024! The combined Autocross & Track Sprint challenge will be held on Saturday September 14th. Trophies for the Top 3 fastest AWD, FWD & RWD classes along with the Fastest Overall will be handed out. 1st place in each will win a cash prize & a coveted StratoCup Trophy!
Registration will open May 1st, with early bird pricing ending July 14th. This event will be limited to the first 60 drivers to register. Learn More Here
DMS Time Trial Championship
Once again there will be a seasonal Championship, with both the StratoCross & StratoAttack events counting towards it. Drivers will earn points based on the position they place in their class & in the overall results. Learn More Here
Season Pass
A limited number of season passes will be available again this year. Purchasing a Season Pass will give you a guaranteed spot at all StratoCross & StratoAttack weekday evening events without the need to register for them. There will be an option to include registration to the StratoCross Challenge Day & The StratoCup at a discounted price. You will also get first pick at car #’s for the 2024 season. Passes will be available for purchase on March 1st on Motorsportreg.com
Event Pricing
Each event will now feature an early bird, regular & last minute registration pricing. Registration fees will be going up a bit this season to keep the events financially viable to run. However, for those that register early the price change will be minimal.

*Early bird pricing cut off is 2 weeks before weekday evening events & 2 months before special weekend events.
*Last minute pricing starts 1 day before weekday evening events & 2 days before special weekend events
*Refundable cancellation cut off is 2 days before any event. No refunds will be given after that. A one time credit may be applied for regular weekday evening events only.

PAX Results
If you’re a fan of the SCCA Solo PAX system, a new local club will be converting the results from the StratoCross events into the current SCCA Solo Pax times for its members. On top of that, the WCMA may run a Regional Autocross Championship with the StratoCross Challenge Day being the date for Edmonton.
Tentative Events:
Off Season Autocross - Still in the very early planning stages. I’m looking into using the large paved Pad dock at Rad Torque Raceway to hold off season Autocross events.
Ice Events - I have put out offers to collaborate with local clubs to run Track sprint & Autocross type events on ice, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
