Classing:
Tuner Class Updates
With some polling & feedback, I've adjusted the Tuner Class rules to make it less confusing & more engine swap friendly. Engine mod allowances are now based soley on the weight to horsepower ratio of the car (factory listed curb weight of the car divided by the factory listed horsepower of whatever engine is currenty in it)
If your calculation comes out to a 12.99 or less you'll need to be using a stock O.E available engine for that model to be allowed in the Tuner Class. Mods are limited to: CAI, tune & cat back exhaust.
If it's a 13 or higher, you can be using any engine. Your main limits are: forced induction can't be added to naturally aspirated engines, turbo upgrades are limited to "drop in" replacements & you can't interchange blocks & heads. (I.E you can't have a k20Z3 head on a K24A2). The cars on the allowance list are considered 13:1 or worse cars.
If your car is above these limits, you will need to enter the Performance Class.
2. Modification allowance for Sport Class & Tuner Class 12.99 or better engine rules
Engine reliability mods & fixes that don't increase horsepower
Catalytic converter removal allowed if it's bolted in after the header on naturally aspirated cars & after the down pipe on turbo cars.
