September Classing Updates

Updated: 6 days ago

With 1 more event left, we're doing another classing update to solidify rules so everyone can start planning off-season mods!

Updated: Interior & Exterior Rules

No longer do you need a full interior. Now you just need 2 front seats a dash & door panels at minimum. If your car has a roll cage, you can remove all of that. If you're using a tire on the "Slow Tire List" you have no restrictions.

On the exterior you can do cosmetic mods, but any performance enhancing aero beyond what the factory installs is not allowed. However, if you run one the tires on the "Slow Tire List" you can add all the aero you want.

Updated: Allowed Engine Mods

For cars with an 18:1 or worse Weight to Hp ratio, you can now use external engine bolt-ons to gain some much needed power to keep up. Examples are headers & intake manifolds, down pipes etc. Turbos must remain O.E., unless you're using a tire on the "Slow Tire List"

Updated: More Tires added to the Slow Tire List

Using a tire off this list allows you to do more mods & removes width restrictions. These tires will be over a second off the pace of the best performing 100TW+ tires you can buy for Autocross.

Tires Added:

  • Advan AD09 / AD08

  • Nitto NT01

  • Toyo Proxes R1R

  • Toyo R888R

  • Any tire with an all season rating

  • Any tire 220 TW rating or higher

Updated: Tire Widths

2WD cars are now allowed 265 width tires, this is to allow a few cars to run an OE width. If you're running 280 TW rated tires, you can run any tire width. For those with big heavy sedans with a curb weight of over 3800 pounds, you are allowed to run 285 2WD | 265 AWD

Added: Slow Tire Extra Modification Allowances

If you're using one of the tires on the Slow Tire List you can can do these mods:

  • No tire width restrictions

  • Intercooler & downpipe can be upgraded on 12.99 :1 or better cars

  • Any 2000 or older vehicle can use a "Drop In" upgraded replacement Turbo

  • Forced Induction can be added to any naturally aspirated vehicle with a 13:1 ratio or worse if using the the stock O.E engine.

No Changes.

Updated: Only vehicles that do not fit into the other classes can enter this.
