Hey folks!
This summer my friends and I pulled this Civic Si out of a farmer's field for 350$.
Since then, we got it running and track-ready. It took a while to get it sorted, so we were only able to get out to Tougebash and one SCR trackday (pictured).
Still has the stock D16 and 5-speed. We plan on bringing it out to all the Stratocross events in 2024. We will probably keep the engine in the car until it goes, at which point we're looking at a B-series swap.
We found some used Skunk2 coilovers to replace the blown stock shocks. Front suspension needs a rebuild for the next season, so we're on the lookout for poly-bushinged control arms and such.
We installed a PowerStop drilled and slotted brake kit with Z23 pads. Brake ducts and bigger calipers are in the books for the future.
Also hoping to get some aero designed and built for it, every advantage counts!
Also made a short montage of the repair process this summer: https://youtu.be/aCFbeAfCK1c?si=M4OwIBrKEzyi3WBJ

Looking forward to seeing this out dodging some cones next season!
